2026 Parent Orientation
Let’s Kick Off the Year with Fun, Food, & Great Info for the Whole Family!
This year’s Parent Orientation meeting for those who have kids that are active in our Children’s Ministry will be on Sunday, August 23, from 4:45 to 5:15 PM, in the Sanctuary. During the orientation, our ministry director, Heather White, will review the calendar, discuss programming, Safe Sanctuaries, and behavior expectations, fill our volunteer slots for the semester, invite questions, and help you complete all permission waivers for the calendar year. All children involved in Nursery childcare (0–4-years-old) or children’s programming (4K–5th grade) must have signed parental consent forms as we begin the 2026–2027 year.
Parents will also hear about our music rotation, the Music Ministry’s plans for White Christmas, and opportunities kids will have to sing in performances during the fall. We ask that parents also pay for their children’s meals for the semester – $40 for kids in grades 4K–5th (under 4K eat for free). These forms are available online and hard copies will also be provided at the meeting. Parents are then free to enjoy some MOBSno and come back to church at 6:30 PM to pick up their children!
