Rise Against Hunger Event
Help us feed hungry children & adults in crisis-stricken areas!
Plan to join your church family—including all ages and stages—on Sunday, August 16, to help package 10,000 (yes, 10,000!) non-perishable meals that will be shipped and distributed to vulnerable communities around the world. The meal packaging event will be facilitated by staff members of the RISE AGAINST HUNGER organization, who will also supply all needed materials. We just supply the manpower and the cost of sponsorship!
RISE AGAINST HUNGER is an international nonprofit headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, that mobilizes thousands of volunteers around the country to package millions of meals for hungry communities worldwide. It also responds to crises resulting from natural disasters, such as hurricanes, floods, and earthquakes.
We’re grateful for another opportunity to serve together and care for those in need! Please join us during this fun afternoon of service and activity.

- Location: Moore Hall
- Childcare Provisions: We will offer nursery childcare for children under 4 years old. For ages 2 and under, kids will be in Room E110, and for ages 3 and 4, kids will be in the Treehouse.
Note: Older kids in grades kindergarten through fifth grade may participate alongside their parents as volunteers for our Rise Against Hunger event. These children MUST be registered with their parents when signing up to volunteer.
