The Dauphin Way Process Team has sought out various statements from congregations explaining why they have chosen to remain in or disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church. Many outside interest groups are producing a large amount of material on behalf of their preferred outcome, but we prefer to share the statements of local congregations.

Many churches have not made an official statement of their reasoning in their decisions, but we believe these three congregations provide a representative sample.

Brentwood UMC
