At Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, we partner with the parents and families of our little ones to help them become Disciples who make a Difference in not just our Mobile community, but across the world. Children truly are the heart of Dauphin Way and we strive to create a safe, inviting environment for children to learn about God’s love. It is our hope that they will grow in their faith through relationships with others in order to fully understand their relationship with Christ.

Heather has served as our director with great dedication and enthusiasm. She holds a master’s degree in elementary education and brings years of teaching experience from Georgia and Tennessee public schools. Her heart for children and joyful presence have made such a meaningful impact on our ministry.
On Sunday mornings and during some special events in the evenings, we offer nursery childcare for children up to 4-years-old.

During our regular 9:30 and 11:00 worship services, K–3rd grade kids are invited to participate in our Children’s Moment. Afterwards, they are escorted to Children’s Church, a special time to dive deeper into God’s word through engaging teaching, worship, and activities that help them grow in their faith!
Participating children should be picked up by their parents from Room 215 in the Education Building after the service.
