Adult Choirs

The Chancel Choir is made up of adults ages 18 and above who witness their faith by singing, experience God through their music and find a fellowship of believers who seek to serve. The choir serves as the principal choir for the 11:00 a.m. worship service. This choir rehearses each Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the music suite found in the basement below the sanctuary. Sunday rehearsals are thirty minutes prior to the service. No audition is necessary. Persons who want to share their faith by singing and who will commit to regular attendance to Wednesday rehearsal and Sunday worship are always welcome. Child care is always provided with reservations.

In addition to weekly worship, the choir has made a recording of favorite anthems, regularly performs large works with orchestra and has sung for special events including the ordination service of the Alabama/ West Florida Annual Conference. One annual highlight is the choir’s participation in the Annual White Christmas Service which features all the choirs and orchestra in a service of Lesson and Carols.
